July 5 - August 20, 2010 - Summer Unlimited Program. Summer Unlimited is a non-profit community program for youth. We provide recreational opportunities for youth age 13 - 18 with a variety of disabilities and special needs. We also provide volunteer and skill building opportunities for young adults whom wish to work in this field. The program operates on a 1:1 “Buddy” model in which staff and volunteers from the surrounding community are paired with one of the participants in the program. This program is unique and important in that its mandate is to try to accommodate any level of need. Our goal is to provide accessible and inclusive experiences while helping our participants build strong peer relationships with members of their community.
